If you're looking for things to do in Edinburgh this Christmas season why not stop at the Edinburgh Christmas Market? Located on Princess Street, just a two-minute walk from the station between 24th November 2023 to January 2024 you will find the renowned Edinburgh Christmas market! Hosting a large variety of Christmas stalls, food and drink you will be sure to have some magical Christmas fun and even pick up some special gifts for your loved ones. 

Edinburgh Castle

If Edinburgh’s Christmas Market isn’t the destination for you, you may like to visit Edinburgh Castle! Just a short walk from the station, Edinburgh Castle is a must-see destination at the heart of Scotland’s capital city. The Edinburgh Castle website has lots of information for you to plan your visit. 

As well as visiting the historic Edinburgh Castle, you may like to visit The National Museum of Scotland. Centrally located, the museum is easy to travel to from any part of Edinburgh and close to many transportation routes, making it an ideal destination to visit. Open daily with free admission, the museum would make an ideal stop to warm up from the winter chill and go on a journey of discovery!
